Across the eurozone, gold is bought and sold at the counter per gram. A customer walking into a jeweller in Vilnius, Madrid or Milan thinks in euros per gram, not dollars per troy ounce, and a widget that quotes in their own terms removes a mental conversion step from the buying decision. This page starts the builder pre-set to EUR, gram pricing and gold only — adjust anything you like and the code updates instantly.
Directly quoted, not converted client-side
The euro price is requested from MetalflowAPI in EUR, so you are not stacking a USD-to-EUR conversion on top of a dollar quote. Per-gram and per-kilogram figures are derived from the euro troy ounce price with the standard 31.1034768 conversion factor. Values under 1,000 show two decimals; larger values round to whole units to keep the widget readable.
For jewellers, gold buyers and pawnbrokers
Pair the widget with your own buying table — for example your rate for 14k and 18k scrap — so visitors can see both the market reference and your offer. Many gold buyers place the card layout in the sidebar of the "we buy gold" page and the ticker in the site header. Because the price refreshes itself inside the frame, the surrounding page can stay aggressively cached.

- The quote is delivered in EUR by MetalflowAPI, so no conversion happens in your browser and rounding stays consistent.

- Yes, and that is the default here. Per gram in EUR is the standard quoting convention for European jewellers and scrap gold buyers.
- Which other European currencies are available?

- Does the price include VAT?
- No. The widget shows the spot price of the metal. Investment gold is VAT-exempt in the EU, but silver, platinum and finished jewellery are not, so add your own note if that matters to your customers.
